Ellen hails from the great state of Georgia and arrived in Boston in 2017 so that she could be closer to her family. Ellen comes to us with over 30 years of teaching experience in several grade levels and subjects. She has a Masters and Doctorate in Education and has a passion to see children grow and learn. What's Mrs. Tsuneta's favorite thing about teaching at Grace Prep?
"If I had to choose one, it would be that I get to really learn my students. Having taught at a regular school setting before where I was not able to do this, I am grateful that I get to learn my students in a deeper way at Grace Prep. Our character training curriculum and biblical discipleship mindset, facilitated by our small student to teacher ratio, allow me to get to know and love each of my students. I get to invest in these souls academically and spiritually and see them bear fruit! For that, I am grateful."
Adam was born and raised in Boston and has been dancing his whole life. He was first inspired to dance by watching his grandfather tap dance. At the age of 6, Adam started studying ballet, tap, jazz, modern, contemporary and hip-hop at Mass Motion Dance. Over the years, he has added other styles of dance like African, Krump, Haitian, and Latin to his repertoire. As a teen, he joined StreetHype, and StreetPunX both directed by Tony Tucker. Adam just finished his Sophomore year at The University of Massachusetts Lowell, studying Exercise Science with a minor in Disability Studies with the hope to become a Physical Therapist or Chiropractor. Adam has taught for both Mass Motion Dance and Park Street School and is now entering residency with VLA Dance. He enjoys using his gifts to bring dance and the Performing Arts to his students at Grace Prep.
