A University Model® school combines the best attributes of home schooling with the best attributes of traditional schooling in order to preserve and maintain the God-ordained family relationship, while offering students the opportunity to achieve a high degree of academic excellence (adapted from the USMI website).

On Mondays and Wednesdays our students are led by classroom teachers alongside their peers.

On Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays students are led by parents through their studies at home.

University-Model® Schools International (UMSI) is a global family of Christian school communities pursuing a philosophy and system of education called the University-Model® (UM). NAUMS, Inc. is the umbrella organization that supports University-Model® Schools International (UMSI), a ministry or division of NAUMS (the non-profit 501c3). NAUMS, Inc. is also the owner of the TRADEMARK University-Model® and is fully accredited by AdvancED, the umbrella organization for SACS CASI, NCA CASI, and NWAC.

UMSI is a national organization with whom our school is associated. UMSI is a Christian organization that supports this hybrid model of schools all over the United States and internationally. They are distinctly a Christian organization.
