Ellen Stone, K Teacher
Ellen hails from the great state of Georgia and arrived in Boston in 2017 so that she could be closer to her family. She wanted to be a part of her grandchildren’s lives and that was proving to be difficult when a thousand miles away. Ellen comes to us with over 30 years of teaching experience! She has her doctorate in Education and her Masters as well. She has taught several grade levels and subjects. Most of all she stands out as a great educator because of her love of children and passion to see them grow and learn. She loves the Lord and is looking forward to sharing that with our kids. This is Ellen’s fourth year teaching at Grace Prep.

Adam Wertheimer, Performing Arts Teacher
Adam was born and raised in Boston and has been dancing his whole life. He was first inspired to dance by his grandfather. He would watch him tap dance and knew from those instances that he wanted to pursue dance. At the age of 6, Adam started studying ballet, tap, jazz, modern, contemporary and hip-hop at Mass Motion Dance directed by Irada Djelassi and Terri Gordon. Over the years, he has added other styles of dance like African, Krump, Haitian, and Latin to his repertoire. As a teen, he joined StreetHype, and StreetPunX both directed by Tony Tucker. Adam just finished his Sophomore at The University of Massachusetts Lowell, studying Exercise Science with a minor in Disability Studies with the hope to become a Physical Therapist or Chiropractor. While in Lowell he has been a part of UMass Lowell’s breakdance club, Tech Styles Crew, UMass Lowell’s Hip-Hop club, Protohype, as well as Mill Advised and The Expressive Movement. Adam has taught for both Mass Motion Dance and Park Street School and is now entering residency with VLA Dance. He is excited to bring dance and the Performing Arts to Grace Prep.
