Jenna Wertheimer, Director
Jenna is a mother of five children that are in all stages of education from elementary to middle school, high school and college. Jenna attended the University of New Hampshire, graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with minors in Political Science, Philosophy and Education. She began her journey in education as a teacher in the public schools and started homeschooling her children in 2002. She has had experience with her children in public and private settings and has been most impressed by the University Model® of education. Jenna joined Grace Prep in 2015 and has played many roles as a parent, teacher, administrator and is the current Director of Grace Prep.
Ellen Stone, K-1 Teacher
Ellen hails from the great state of Georgia and arrived in Boston in 2017 so that she could be closer to her family. She wanted to be a part of her grandchildren’s lives and that was proving to be difficult when a thousand miles away. Ellen comes to us with over 30 years of teaching experience! She has her doctorate in Education and her Masters as well. She has taught several grade levels and subjects. Most of all she stands out as a great educator because of her love of children and passion to see them grow and learn. She loves the Lord and is looking forward to sharing that with our kids.
Deanne Taylor, 1-2 Teacher
Deanne has been a homeschooling mom of her five children as well as a teacher in Christian schools. She and her family lived cross-culturally as missionaries in Kiev, Ukraine for 8 1/2 years. She has also enjoyed being an English-as-a-Second-Language teacher, tutor. worship band member and pastor’s wife. Deanne has a passion for teaching and discipling kids and is excited to join us!
John Lux, 3-5 Teacher
John has recently returned from spending 10 years serving God in the Africa. He and his family have recently moved to Watertown and are a part of Antioch Brighton. During the summer, John works for Northeastern University. He also works part-time at Antioch Brighton as a Young Adults Ministry Leader. John has a passion for life skills learning. He has experience teaching at Park Street School and taught the 2-4 grade in the Spring of 2019. We are so excited to have him for this upcoming year!
Carina Tsuneta, Music and Art Teacher
Carina has contributed to the school in many ways over the past couple of years organizing the jog-a-thon and volunteering where ever we needed her. She has previously taught math and music at Grace Prep as well. We are so happy to have her on our team of teachers. She has her Masters in Special Education and has been on the worship team at two churches for over thirteen years. Her understanding of children, gentle nature, and love of music and education will be prominent in the school.
