Ellen Stone, K-1 Teacher
Ellen hails from the great state of Georgia and arrived in Boston in 2017 so that she could be closer to her family. She wanted to be a part of her grandchildren’s lives and that was proving to be difficult when a thousand miles away. Ellen comes to us with over 30 years of teaching experience! She has her doctorate in Education and her Masters as well. She has taught several grade levels and subjects. Most of all she stands out as a great educator because of her love of children and passion to see them grow and learn. She loves the Lord and is looking forward to sharing that with our kids.
Nikki Sawyers, 2-4 Teacher
Nikki Sawyers and her family moved to Boston to plant Boston North Presbyterian Church (a plant of Christ the King Church in Cambridge). Nikki has five children ages 5-18 and with the help of her husband has homeschooled them all. She graduated from Baylor University with a degree in English and has spent the past 20 years in various forms of education–from teaching in a private Christian school, to co-ops, to teaching at home. She is very excited and thankful to be a part of Grace Preparatory Academy!
